A joyful time of worship, prayers and fellowship with the beautiful children at the Child Care Center(Balwadi), situated in the heart of Kamathipura( Mumbai’s notorious red light district). Shankar and his team take care of the neighborhood children providing them with 3 meals a day, child care, school prep & supplies, and a computer center. We also had a wonderful opportunity to visit the care home operated by Grace Foundation at chembur for the homeless destitute’s from the streets of Mumbai. WearJesus was able to contribute Rs,1,50,000 towards the Building fund of the new center at Karjat(on the outskirts of Mumbai).

A first time visit to Sneha Sagar Girls Orphanage in Vasai(Mumbai Suburbs), A home for about 40 girls, WearJesus was able to refurbish 4 Desktop computers and hire a part-time teacher for the girls, we hosted a lunch program with gifts of School supplies, art, and sports equipment’s, we also contributed Rs,50,000 towards maintenance. We hope to eventually have a full fledge computer center with a full time teacher and start a Further Education Financial Support Program..

Back again at St.Gonsalo Garcia Boys Orphanage in Vasai. A pleasure to reunite with Mr.Norbert, Nikita and Amit, A wholesome time with the boys, with dinner, gifts of sports and school supplies and a donation of Rs,100,000 for their day to day expenses.

A first visit to Divya Prabha Home for Distressed Girls and Orphanage. Housing approx 30 girls, this visit offered a unique experience and a warm welcome. With dance programs, skill and art display and a birthday party. WearJesus was able to host a Lunch program and donate Rs,50,000.
